King Oyster Mushroom
King Oyster mushroom is the largest of the oyster mushroom gnus. It has meaty texture and full of umami flavour. They are most commonly used in luxury Asian dishes. You can see them from Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisines.
We are very careful when we select king oysters mushroom as they don't come cheap!
They usually come nicely trimmed and free from dirt or soil but if you do notice any dirt, gently brush it off instead of washing them. The caps are quite delicate so be sure to select unbroken ones if you’re after beautiful presentation.
Wrap it with a paper towel and leave them in the fridge if you plan to consume them later.
